About course

A specialized and one-of-a-kind online course, “FPV Drone Filtering and Tuning Systems”, designed for FPV pilots, drone builders, manufacturers, and UAV engineers focused on proper drone tuning through the understanding of noise, filters, PID tuning, flight logs, and flight controller stability. This is not a basic “Betaflight buttons” course. The program is built around an engineering-level understanding of FPV drone flight: why oscillations occur, why motors overheat, what causes instability, and why copied presets do not work the same on every platform. The training is based on practical work with real FPV platforms, flight logs, and modern analysis and tuning tools.

Course program


1.
Fundamentals of FPV Drone Stability
Analysis of noise sources, vibrations, and resonances in FPV systems. Understanding how mechanical and electronic oscillations affect flight quality, stability, and drone control.

2.
Filtering and PID Tuning
Principles of filter operation, types of filtering, and the balance between system stability and control latency. Fundamentals of PID tuning and how tuning parameters affect drone behavior.

3.
Flight Log Analysis
Working with Blackbox, recording and analyzing flight logs, identifying the causes of instability, oscillations, and issues in FPV platform behavior.

4.
Working with PID Toolbox
Spectrogram analysis, resonance detection, and system tuning optimization for specific platforms using PID Toolbox.

5.
Practical Case Studies
Practical breakdown of tuning 7” and 10” FPV platforms, common configuration mistakes, and a step-by-step approach to stabilizing drone flight.

2.
Certificate
Upon completion of the course and successful passing of the final test, each student receives an official certificate from the training center. The certificate confirms that the student has acquired the theoretical knowledge required for the level of Junior FPV Drone Engineering Specialist.
