About course

Today on the battlefield, every enemy drone can become a deadly threat. But you can become the one who stops them in the sky. The “Enemy UAV Interception” course was created in response to one of the key threats of modern warfare — the enemy’s mass deployment of reconnaissance drones and kamikaze drones. Participants learn not only how to operate unmanned aerial vehicles, but also how to use them as a tool for active counteraction against hostile drones. The program is designed for military personnel and civilian specialists who already possess basic knowledge of fixed-wing UAV operations. We elevate this foundation to professional interceptor operator training, enabling participants to neutralize enemy aerial targets. A key feature of the course is its strong practical focus. 80% of the training is dedicated to real-world scenarios: from simulator-based interception exercises to flights in challenging conditions using operational equipment. The theoretical component (20%) provides a clear understanding of tactics, guidance principles, specialized software use, and operational safety.

  • 10 full days of intensive training
  • Daytime training format from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Daily sessions including lectures, simulator training, and real flights at the training ground
  • * It is possible to conduct the course in English for foreign students

What you will learn

Valuable hands-on skills in the use of interceptor drones
– Readiness for real-world counter-UAV operations on the battlefield
– Official Global Drone Academy Certificate

Course program

1.
Tactics of Enemy UAV Interception
Study of target detection and tracking algorithms, principles of interception trajectory planning, selection of optimal speed and attack altitude, and more.

2.
Working with guidance systems and specialized software
Study of the principles of working with guidance systems, use of specialized software for target detection and tracking, configuration of interception parameters, and integration of interceptor drones into the overall battlefield management system.

3.
Training in Real-World Conditions
Practical skills training in real training-ground conditions: takeoff and landing procedures, target tracking and interception, operations in active electronic warfare (EW) environments, and coordination training with support units and ground crews.

4.
Combat Scenario Training
Combat scenario training for the deployment of interceptor drones: simulation of attacks by different types of enemy UAVs, operations in changing tactical environments, and coordination with air defense units and other countermeasure systems.

5.
Practical Application of Interceptor Drones in Real-World Conditions
Practical deployment of interceptor drones in real-world conditions: execution of missions involving detection, tracking, and neutralization of enemy UAVs, operations in low-visibility and electronic warfare (EW) environments, assessment of interception effectiveness, and tactical adjustment.

6.
Use of Real Combat Equipment
Use of real combat equipment: operation of standard-issue interceptor drones, deployment of ground control systems and communication systems, and practice of maintenance procedures and pre-mission preparation for combat tasks.

7.
Certificate
Upon completion of the training and successful passing of the final exam, each participant receives an official certificate from the training center. The certificate confirms that the participant has acquired the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the operation of Class 1 fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The training program complies with the requirements of the profession “Remote-Controlled Systems Operator” (code 8990) in accordance with the National Classification of Ukraine DK 003:2010 “Classifier of Professions.” The acquired training also corresponds to Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 216.
